Happy 75th Founding Anniversary, Quezon City Schools Division Office!

The Quezon City Schools Division Office (SDO-QC) proudly celebrated its 75th founding anniversary, marking a historic milestone of excellence, dedication, and commitment to quality education. The event, held in partnership with the Quezon City government, was a vibrant gathering of current and former leaders, educators, and stakeholders, all united to honor the institution’s legacy.

Former QC SDS officials, including Dr. Ponciano Menguito, Dr. Natividad Bayubay, and Dr. Jenilyn Corpuz, along with former assistant SDS officials, were recognized for their years of service and dedication to advancing the quality of education in the city.

Mayor Belmonte expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the division's officials, principals, and teachers for their crucial role in shaping the youth of Quezon City. She commended their commitment to nurturing the next generation and emphasized the importance of their continued partnership in building a brighter future for education.

SDS Carleen Sedilla extended her appreciation to past and present leaders, acknowledging that the SDO-QC’s current achievements would not have been possible without their efforts. She emphasized the importance of every individual’s contributions to the organization and urged everyone to remain resilient and prepared to face future challenges together.

The event also saw the participation of Education Affairs Unit Head Maricris Veloso, Local School Board Secretariat Dr. Susan Baetiong, district supervisors, education program supervisors, school principals, non-teaching personnel, and other stakeholders. Their presence highlighted the collective spirit of unity and dedication that defines the SDO-QC community.
